Having this concussion has been miserable for me and the people around me in so many ways it's not even funny. So to celebrate, I went and drew a colored comic, because coloring is fun (if a bit time-consuming).
This comic is dedicated with the utmost love and affection to my Aunt Ginny and Uncle Lable, who are 100% on Javiera's side. I even suspect my aunt would also whack me with something if I were currently within arm's length, but I digress. I am back to playing soccer, but I'm being smart about it: I'm now wearing a mouthgaurd and have purchased this nifty soccer headgear thingy, and so far, so good. If you have any kids, nieces/nephews/cousins/friends/people you care about who play soccer, encourage them to wear one. There's no shame in protecting yourself.
