"I Just Work Here" presents: Do A Headstand!

HOUSTON, WE HAVE A LAUNCH!!!

This strip was actually a test to see if the success of the first strip had been a fluke. Was the positive reaction a one-time thing? Or was "I Just Work Here" really onto something after all? I had never expected it to be very well liked, so this was a further test of the waters. Or a test of the audience, howsoever you choose to consider it. I admit I put significantly more effort into this one than the first strip. Given I had expected little to no reaction from "Oh, SNAP!", "Do A Headstand" was taken far more seriously, even hopefully. It's a good thing I took it more seriously, too; "Do A Headstand," as best I can tell, is when these strips really started getting launched out there. After its release, I started getting e-mails from people I'd never met or even heard of before from the local, state, and even federal levels, all of them wanting to see more. At first it was actually kind of scary; these strips do poke fun at the policy itself, and the last thing I wanted was to lose my job over a cartoon. And then I found out the people who found them funniest actually MAKE the policy... Go figure...
