"I Just Work Here" presents: Both Are Immortal, If You Think About It

Roaches are so gross. I made the mistake of drawing this comic while eating lunch at work. Turns out eating food and drawing roaches isn't a good idea.

...In case you were ever considering doing that.

THERE HAVE BEEN HUGE UPDATES TO THE "OTHER FUN STUFF" PAGE!!! You should definitely go check them out! I have added lots of new comics I love to read and updated the link to my other comic, "Just Caitlin." You'll notice there is now a section titled "NSFW" or "Not Safe For Work." I want to point out as a government employee I personally have a VERY low threshhold for things I consider NSFW. The comics I've linked in that section are seriously great comics and I always look forward to their updates, but sometimes they involve cursing, or blood and violence, or nudity, or some combination thereof. I have NOT provided links to any comics with pornographic content on my website, so don't worry about that. I don't know where you work but I would encourage you to exercise caution here; these comics may be best viewed at home, where you don't need to worry about your boss looking over your shoulder.

The first comic, Questionable Content, is one of my all-time favorites. It follows a group of 20-somethings living in the Boston area and their various misadventures. I've rated it NSFW because there's a fair amount of cursing, ocassional nudity, and plenty of crude humor. The author does a fantastic job of exploring issues such as substance abuse, mental health, and other relevant topics, so I highly recommend checking it out.

The second comic, The Young Protectors, is a comic I've been following for a while and is one of my favorites. The comic follows Kyle, a gay superhero, and explores not only the stereotypes we hold about superheroes, but asks the question of how would a team of young adults with super powers handle having a gay teammate in their ranks. There is some nudity, but nothing too graphic. There is a fair amount of suggestive content, especially in the first 3 chapters. I wholeheartedly applaud the way this comic has been written and handled, and if you're interested in superhero comics I think this is a critical comic to read.

The third comic, Angel's Power, is just starting out but looks very promising. The angels in this comic are a dark, sinister race fighting a war to maintain power over the world. So far there has been a bit of blood and some disturbing images. The author warns of explicit content, but at this time page 50 has been posted and I haven't seen any of that yet. I assume it's coming down the road. If you're into dark, brooding stories and a possible antihero setup, you should enjoy this comic.

The last of the NSFW comics, Manly Guys Doing Manly Things, is a nifty little comic I stumbled upon a few weeks ago and have become hooked on. It follows Commander, an ultra-macho super soldier from the future as he works at a temp agency designed to "rehabilitate" ultra-macho characters into society. These characters include Kratos from the video game God of War, Canadian Guy, Link from Legend of Zelda, and various other video and comic book characters. This comic is hysterical and very well-drawn, but every now and then there is a bit of blood, and lots of cursing throughout. There are also lots of adult themes. I debated putting it under the NSFW tab, but ultimately decided to err on the side of caution and put it there.

And there you have it! Please check out any of those that sound interesting to you, and enjoy! Also, if you have a favorite comic you don't see linked on my website, send me a link! I am always looking for (good) new comics to read, so if I read it and like it I may add a link here. Yay for lots of links! 8D
